Pop-Up Venice 

Young In Hong invites participation in her performance work, Echoes, accompanying her original soundtrack through the preview days of the Venice Biennale. Echoes is a relay of one person’s protest as well as a performance realised through music/sound testifying to the idea of equality through individually different ways of expression. The project becomes a collection of music performances performed by anonymous artists conducting their individual performances in public places at Venice City. Further information here

Gayle Chong Kwan’s Artist+Partum= (2017) considers an artist’s creative and pro-creative responsibilities. The artist wears a white lab coat as empirical researcher, inviting people in the streets of Venice to undertake activities related to the roles of being an artist and mother. Chong Kwan will add these contributions to her installation in the inaugural exhibition le désir at Galerie Alberta Pane, Dorsoduro 2403/h, Venice where she is also showing The Golden Tide (2015), a series of photographic works relating to longing, loss, and desire through the recording of waste along the Thames Estuary. Chong Kwan will request contributions from the public in Campo Santa Margherita on Thursday 11th May at 7pm and at noon on Friday 12 May along  Via Giuseppe Garibaldi between the Arsenale and the Giardini.

Getting lost daily between Piazza San Marco, Venice and the Giardini, Castello, Venice and live streamed from 12.00h on Periscope: @waughoffice
